Peace Corps Prep

Prepare yourself now for the “toughest job you’ll ever love.”

Peace Corps PREP

Are you looking for:

  • A way to put your Mines engineering or science degree to use in service to others?
  • An international job that’s also an adventure?
  • A chance to build peace and understanding between peoples?
  • An opportunity to serve your country — and the world?

An Opportunity to Serve

The Colorado School of Mines Peace Corps Prep certificate program — the first in the state — is a partnership between Mines and the US Peace Corps. It is administered by the school’s groundbreaking Humanitarian Engineering program in the Engineering, Design, and Society division, but is open to all students in all majors. The program will help you become a better Peace Corps volunteer candidate (if that’s where your path takes you after graduation) and a better global citizen.

Check out our convenient online application form.  Join at any time (but the sooner the better)!
